Who we are
Northside Lawn & Property Care is a sole trader business operated by Peter, based in Thomastown, Melbourne VIC. ABN 30 721 497 167. When we say "we", "us", or "Northside LPC" on this page, that's who we mean. "You" means anyone using this website or our services.
Using this website
This website is provided for general information and to help you get in touch with us or request a quote. We do our best to keep everything accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee that every detail on the site is current at all times.
You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. Don't do anything dodgy.
Quotes and pricing
The online quote tool on this website provides estimates only. These estimates are calculated based on the information you provide, including any areas drawn on the map.
Final pricing is always confirmed by Pete in person before any work begins. The price you're given on site is the price you pay. No surprises.
Quote estimates from the online tool are valid for 30 days from the date they're generated.
Bookings and cancellations
When you book a visit or a job through us, we'll confirm the details with you directly. If you need to cancel or reschedule, just give Pete a call or message as early as you can so we can adjust the schedule.
If we need to cancel or reschedule due to weather or other circumstances, we'll let you know as soon as possible and rebook at a time that works for you.
The work itself
Pete will carry out all work to a professional standard using appropriate equipment for the job. If you're not happy with anything, let Pete know on the day or as soon as possible and he'll make it right.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits or overrides your rights under the ACL.
Liability
Northside LPC holds comprehensive public liability insurance. Pete is also police checked for your peace of mind.
We take reasonable care on every job, but we're not liable for any pre-existing damage to your property, damage caused by hidden hazards we weren't made aware of (like buried pipes, cables, or sprinkler lines), or any indirect or consequential loss arising from our services.
If something goes wrong that's our fault, we'll work with you to sort it out fairly and promptly.
Your property
By booking a job with us, you confirm that you have authority to authorise work on the property. If you're a tenant, please make sure you have your landlord's or property manager's approval where needed.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the date at the top.

What we collect
When you contact us, request a quote, or use the chat on this website, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, suburb, property address, details about the job you need done, and any photos or images you send us.
We only collect what we need to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, or carry out the work.
How we collect it
We collect your info through the contact form on this website, the online quote tool, our AI chat assistant (Pete), phone calls and text messages, and email.
Our AI chat assistant
The chat on this website is powered by an AI assistant named Pete. It's not a human. It handles initial enquiries so Pete can focus on the work.
Conversations with the AI assistant may be stored so Pete can follow up with you properly. If you send photos through the chat, they may be stored temporarily to help with quoting.

What we do with your info
We use your information to respond to your enquiry or quote request, schedule and carry out work on your property, follow up with you about bookings or completed work, and improve our services.
We don't sell your information to anyone. We don't share it with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
Third-party tools
This website uses Google Maps (for the quote tool where you draw your property on a map), Google Analytics (to understand how people use the site), and the Revenu platform (for chat, SMS, and enquiry management).
These services may collect technical data like your IP address, browser type, and how you interact with the site. This is handled under their own privacy policies. We don't control what they collect, but we've chosen tools that handle data responsibly.
How we store your info
Your contact details and enquiry information are stored in our business management system. We take reasonable steps to keep it secure. We don't keep information longer than we need it.

You can ask us what information we hold about you at any time. You can ask us to update or delete your information. You can opt out of follow-up messages.

We service Melbourne's north and north-east suburbs. While we cover a wide area, we may not be able to service every address. Service availability is subject to scheduling and capacity.
