We believe in transparent pricing. No guessing, no waiting days for a callback. Here is exactly how we price lawn mowing and property maintenance across Melbourne's northern suburbs.
Not sure? A standard suburban front + back lawn is usually 200–400m². Or switch to Draw on map.
Standard pricing assumes grass under 25cm. If it's shin-high (25-40cm) or completely overgrown (40cm+), we have to double-cut it and it's much harder on the equipment, which adds to the cost.
Mulching the clippings back into the lawn is the cheapest option (we actually give a discount). Putting them in your green bin is standard. If we have to bag them and take them to the tip, there is a flat $35 fee.
Regular fortnightly clients get our best rates because the yard is always manageable. 3-weekly, 4-weekly, or one-off cuts cost slightly more per visit because there's more growth to deal with.
We measure the actual square meterage of the grass (front + back), not the total block size. You can use the "Draw on map" feature in our quote tool to get your exact grass area.
Prices generally start from $70 for small courtyards, average around $190 for a standard suburban yard (200-300m²), and go up to $360+ for larger blocks. The exact price depends on grass height and whether clippings are removed.
The main factors are: 1) Total grass area, 2) Grass height (overgrown grass takes longer and is harder on equipment), 3) What we do with the clippings (mulching is cheaper, taking them away costs extra), and 4) How often we mow.
Yes. A regular 2-weekly or 3-weekly schedule prevents the grass from getting overgrown, which avoids the heavy 'jungle' surcharges. It's the most cost-effective way to keep your property looking sharp.
